OK, all you know I'm crazy about analog sound, because i can't find CP-50 nowhere, what about instead them i install SMART MOD II Processor instead, for upgrading cinema from mono to stereo.

What are differences between this two devices???

If you are talking about a MOD II and NOT a MOD IIC, then I would not suggest the MOD II as it does not have noise reduction for playing SR prints. Although it could be upgraded with the proper matrix and an outboard SR processor, it would not be worth the money to do so.

Give us a call if looking for CP50s, CP55s or perhaps a Smart Mod 6 Front / Surround (Oscar - is this easy to turn into a L C R S unit ?). I have a number of CP50s, some cosmetically poor which are open to "negotiation" ! Also have Cat280Ts or Smart CC280s in stock - either plug straight into the CP50 or the CP55 via a SRA5 (the Mod6 has SR emulation built in)

HI - I thought so too but this one has a different piggyback card and cost less than the full monty when bought. I must admit I've not tried throwing the dipswitch but guess I got a bargain if the cheaper f/s model has L and R as well

I never had anything to do with anything but the mod 6 that one configured with a jumper on the main board
There were several different DSP based matrix daughter board before the current analogue CircleSurround but I didn't know there was an eccono FS matrix board for it

The MOD VI did have a front/surround only matrix available, but not that many were sold. It is NOT capable of any more channels.
