Ok, here's another question from me:

In analog forward scan basement readers the solar cells are not staying vertical why??, is that reducing high frequencies??, also does color, power, and exciter lamp distance effect to High Frequencies?? also does cell distance from film effect to High Frequencies ass well in reproduction of analog sound track, in my system i think i have a loss of HF what are reasons of loss HF?

One thign more, can we make our own stero cell from photo tranzistors or photo diodes???

Just buy a new one from your cinema dealer, they're pretty cheap.

The solar cell chip is generally angled at the top of the cell to get it approxiamately 2mm from film surface with the scanning beam illuminating the upper 1/3 of the cell surface; this allows the cross talk between stereo channels to be low. The tilt of the chip is to keep most of the mass of the cell within the sound drum area. Generic stereo raw cell chips are $25 - 60 depending on the source. Even if you make your own solar cell, you will still need the bracket for your soundhead.

Why not post something in the FS/wanted forum? With any luck, there is someone out there who has done a conversion to reverse scan and will send you a cell and bracket for little more than the shipping cost.
