Hi everyone

Reading the SDDS 3000's manual I understood that the AUX 1 and 2 Subwoofer level should be set to +10dB for "all others digital systems". Can you confirm that this should be made both for Dolby Digital (DA20) and DTS?

I've got news for you, the manual isn't talking about CDS! Of course that is for SRD and DTS.

(You sure seem to do a lot of tinkering.)

... Do you mean that CDS has a different setup but that +10dB is correct for both DD and DTS?

I do not have a dictionary right now... what means "tinkering"?

CDS is a moot point, as you will never see one of those.

Tinkering means messing with things that you really should not be messing with. Or to word it another way, you are constantly asking specific questions regarding sound processor calibration that if you were qualified to be adjusting the machines, you wouldn't have to be asking how to do it.

You have a CDS in your Screeninc room if I'm not wrong. Just for curiosity, what is the right setting for CDS with D3000?

My DFP3000 reproduces SDDS audio only. I use the superior Dolby CP200 for the actual processing.
