You may NOT post in the Feature Info forum unless you have PERSONALLY HANDLED A PRINT.
The rules are very clear on this, and are posted at the top of every page in that forum.
Moving to FHF.

Yes, It is 8 track. DTS also told me thata if enough cinemas requested it they could also supply 8 track dtS disks for the XD-10. This is somewhat doubtful to happen though as there is a lack of 8 chan. processors in the foeld to route the XD-10 through.

Are ALL the upgraded CP650s support the 8 channels? The setup software says yes but I don't know if it really already works since our 8ch screen has SDDS.
If all sold CP650 can support 8 channel just upgrading it the 8ch setup is not so much expensive ("just" speakers and amps).

Oh it is a little more than that...first, the 8-channel outputs are only active in digital AES form so you will need D/A converters.

Steve
How much time before QSC and others will sell Digital monitor/crossover with AES inputs? DA converters are not an expensive piece of equipment, isn't it?
However the main problem, since actually Dolby does not support 8ch dolby digital track, have the cp650 8ch analog inputs? Or can I connect the XD10 via cp's digital input?
