Check the DTS-6D System Test and Troubleshooting Guide in the manuals section. You will find a history and content description of DTS test discs there.

Note that no test disks are needed for the XD-10. Its all built in. It will not allow you to load any of the test disks

I think Winnemucca is an American Indian name but offhand I don't know what it means. I actually like the desert country around here, nice hot-dry climate and it has a scenic beauty all its own and alot of mountains. The people are nice, the restaurants good, and there are even slot machines in the K-Marts, but no customers shopping. What more could you ask for.....
Off to Reno tommrrow for some weekend fun.
