Warning to all, reel 4 of the print I handled of Manchurian Candidate came with SDDS data on the edges. Since Paramount does not print in SDDS, this looks like a potential lab error. This reel could contain silence, audio from another movie, who knows??? Until such time that someone can verify what the data is on this reel (or prescreen your print), it might be best to turn the SDDS processor off or put it into bypass mode.

I got "Two Brothers" like that:
SDDS Track on Reels 1 & 2, but clear edges on all the rest.
And yes, it was an actual track and not just cyan coloring on the edge. There was data.

My print of Two brothers was the same way. R1 had SDDS but dropped out continuosly throughout. R2 was fine then the rest had no SDDS.

The studio prints that I handled here in New York, had SDDS information and played well. The prints I had were not standard release prints.
