I read in the archives that a 750 watt Xenon lamp is suggested for the ORC M1000 integrated lamphouse. However, I have not seen 750 watt lamps widely available for sale. Is the OSRAM XBO 700 W/HS OFR XENON LAMP a suitable replacement for fitting this unit?

Or, if not, can someone tell me the specific lamp needed and where I might be able to order it?

The Osram 700w is what i use in mine. It gives more than enough light for my 8' screen. [thumbsup]

You will get better life out of the 700 watt Christie lamp by a long shot. The Osram would be my second choice though.
