Anyone else out there scheduled to run the Midnight show tonight of Incredibles having trouble getting their prints from Technicolor? This is a load of crap. Our theater gets a call today from them telling us that they could not get our prints to us until midnight and 1:30 am. This all due to print availability. We get a call back telling us that they can have at least 1 print to us by 6:30...Oh now you can have us a print. They should of had us both prints on time since we indicated to our booking department that we were running the midnight show. Now I can see one of the reasons why Miramax and Sony jumped ship. [Mad]

I know that my theater is running a midnight...I dont know if we have our copy yet. I will know around 8pm when I go in to do teardown. If its not in by about 10:30pm were pretty much screwed.

And by "screwed" I mean, ill be building that mofo like a bat out of hell...and it wont look too pretty either.

I've heard US prints are all on Kodak VISION Premier Color Print film 2393. [thumbsup]

I got three and a half prints on the first DHL delivery. They sent our mylars and the other can on a truck trailing the first by twenty minutes. How logistical.

Got our two prints at 3:30, our normal time. One of the prints is a backup in case the digital messes up...

HAHA! I KNEW it! I haven't handled a print but I sure noticed on-screen. The blacks were very deep and grain was almost nonexistant. I'm really gaining an eye for film stocks I guess. I think 2393 is the best for CGI-type films. Ice Age was another one on 2393 that looked awesome.
