A CP50 I have has a small board(about 1.5 inches square)stuck to the back of it with foam tape and connected to the back plane with 8 or 10 wires. In the center it has a ribbon cable jumper. I would assume it was to connect to some other equip and the jumper worked as a bypass. Unfortunatly some of the wires are no longer connected to anything. I need to know how to either remove it or fix it. I have gone thru the CP50 manuals here and can't find any reference to it.The only markings on the board are D458.

Use a 20 pin ribbon cable to jump those two connections together. That is for adding a digital playback system.

The jumper is there but some of the connections to the backplane have broken loose and can't tell where they go. Anybody got instructions/schematic for this adapter?

d458 is used to connect audio signals from DTS-6, schematics on DTS-6 manual section 7-8...
