We have a CP 55 that wont switch back to the house music after any of the films. Iv changed the cue detector but there is still no music. Any ideas?

First off, which make and model automation are you using? Different models of automations sometimes have different ways of handling processor control and it is not easy to generalize here.

The CP55 goes into non-sync (what you mean by "house music", if the system is wired normally) when a circuit is briefly made between the GND and S6 terminals of terminal board TB2 on the CAT 321 automation interface on the back of CP55. When the automation performs a "show end", it should perform that action at the same time the chageover closes. So...maybe there is a wiring problem, or the CAT 321 has worked loose, or there is a relay or programming issue with your automation.

We have a cinemation automation but the unit doesnt really work the music is wired into the non sync it worked and then it just stopped. Its a component enginering cue detector. No one has done anything with the automation box that would cause it to stop working because no one used the automation. I think its something with the cp 55 because 2 weeks ago it was moved out to wire a dvd player in.

Check the connections on the cat-321 automation interface board, specifically the connection to terminal S6. When this terminal is pulsed to ground, the CP55 should go to non-sync. If it does go to non-sync, check your input connections to the processor. Were they removed for the DVD player, and then not put back?
