In the Film Handler's Movie Reviews, David Stambaugh wrote about a positive experience with "National Treasure":

That particular house (#4) consistently has the best image quality around here. With a good print, it's amazing how much detail they get on that screen (which is only around 32' in scope in case you're wondering; Simplex 1014, Strong 4KW console/lamphouse; auditorium seats around 450, conventional sloped seating). I'd love to have one of you guys see it and evaluate it. I'm sure you'd find some things to criticize, but damn, it sure looks good to me. [Wink]

I just sent Regal a positive comment card, which I know some of the more jaded here will snicker at (or you'll think I probably don't know what I'm talking about). But those comments do trickle down to the individual theaters and maybe, just maybe it'll help reinforce that someone noticed they're doing something right. [Big Grin]
