Hey Everyone,

I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find it.

What do the codes on certain bulbs mean, such as LTI-4000W-HTP and LTI-5000W-HS (What does HTP and HS stand for)?

What does it mean in literature when they say "Accepts regular Xenon bulbs"? Does that mean LTI-3000W-H?

And what abbreviation is compatible with UXL-3600HK? Thanks!

There is a topic on lamp codes HTP=Horizontal Threaded Pin
HS means Horizontal Short

Gordon, do you know which bulbs are compatible with the Xebex lamphouses now (HK)? I can't find info anywhere on these bulbs, if they're still made.

And I did find that topic, but it doesn't explain HK, etc.

Most Xebex lamphoues use a HTP lamp but in some cases the collet has been bored out for a different lamp
Also an Anode cable is required in most cases
It is a good idea to check what is the lamp that is currently installed in the system or ask the service engineer for the theatre in question as many have been modified over the years
