New install of a CE Ta-10 wall mount automation.
Replacing cobbled mess of home brew relays.
Two out of 3 TA-10's installed.
While a show is running in Projector B, when Projector C's show is started, the Utililty relay and the Lamp relay in Projector B's Ta-10 are released. Thus, shutting down the lamp and turning on the house lights. Motor continues to run.
Only way to correct this, is to press stop on Projector B's Ta-10, then press start again.

I've talked to CE tech support, they suspect the RF generated by the Kneisley Lamp house when it ignites on Projector C, corrupts the program in the TA-10.

The data interconnecting wires are not connected.

CE suggested an isolation relay to be placed between the Lamp relay in the TA-10 and the ignitor circuit on Projector B.

Anyone ran into this and have any further suggestions for a cure?

I have an 8 plex I service and installed where when a show starts and the lamp ignites sometimes another machine willshut down or start up
Even after disconnectingthe data bus it will do it sometimes yet there has never been a hint of ignition noise get into any of the soundsystems or the digital processors

I'm no expert but is it possible for a dorp of electricity from starting the other show to cuase the relay to release?

IIRC, the late Paul Thompson had a similar problem that turned out to be an electrical grounding problem with an electrical panel.

CE says that since just those two relays drop, it has to be a program issue.

They also mentioned the voltage drop theory. I tightened all connections and added a new ground wire to the projector that causes problems when started. Time will only tell, as this is a sporadic problem.

Still having this problem. Anyone with further thoughts.
The show run indicator light on automation B will go out, when projector C is started. Then on Projector B, after 7 seconds, the douser will close and the util relay will release.
Only solution is to press stop, then re-start the show.

I'm thinking the Xenon ignitor on Projector C is the cause of this. How could I reduce any noise caused by this ignitor?
This lamphouse use's a Irem rectifier.

Have you tried running the shows with the lamphouse off, to see if this stops the problem??

It's definitely the one lamphouse causing the problem.
What's the chance that a good surge protector wired into the panel the TA-10 is wired into would solve this problem?
