Ok, so the film companies make us invest in these red led readers which are just a little better than the previous setup....

Where are these films????

I only recall two that I ran last year, Soul Plane and Mr. 3000 I think. Where are they?

'Pooh's Heffalump Movie' is the next one, in Februrary, and if BV keeps its promise, all BV films after that are to be 100% cyan.

Only ones I saw last year were Soul Plane and Mr. 3000.
Someone will have to post for Heffalump, I don't think we're getting that one.

Updates should be posted on the http://www.dyetracks.org website. So far, Disney, Miramax, MGM, and Dreamworks have announced full conversion plans.

I got two "Surviving Christmas" (which really didn't survive Halloween)prints from Dreamworks-one of which had the cyan tracks. This was Dreamworks' second title. I have no clue what the first was and I don't know when/if they are completely switching over. BV had notes in with Mr. 3000 saying all prints would be cyan after January 1st. All MGM prints will have it now, I believe.

We got three cyan track movies last year, Sleepover, Mr.3000, and Surviving Christmas. Haven't seen any since.

I haven't actually seen any here in Sweden, just notes from the distributors that the cyan prints are coming. And everybody's trying to get the red light thingies installed now, including us.

Dreamworks' first wide release with cyan dye tracks was Woody Allen's "Anything Else":

I have wondered the same--I just replaced the bulbs in one reader that I installed almost 8 years ago because "it was coming fast". What I really am upset about is the price has dropped from what I paid then--I could have saved money if the hype didn't scare me at that time. With how long it is taking for this change, I doubt digital cinema will be around before I die.

Miramax's up coming release of "Hostage" (March 11th) is cyan.
