We ordered Film-Guard by name and somehow got 2 bottles of CPI's static protection and film lube instead of the good stuff. Second time this has happened. Is this my supplier (UCS) acting up or is CPI doing this on purpose? Having fun explaining to my GM what the difference is or what the harm would be in using the CPI juice now. Would imagine after using FG for over two years now, running this crap in my projectors can't be a good idea. Any suggestions would be great.

See this thread.

CPI is apparently still shipping their knockoff product to people who order Filmguard, despite the fact that they no longer distribute FG. The general consensus is that the CPI product doesn't work and can potentially cause damage to film. It also probably infringes on the FG patent.
