The air vane switch in the top blower of one of my consoles went south yesterday. Had a spare assembly, and changed it out with no problem.

Rather than order another whole assembly ($$$) from Strong, I simply need to replace the switch in question. Some detective work indicates that it is a standard force switch manufactured by Cherry (type E2285HX), a 3A 125/250 VAC.

Here's the question: Is the above switch the correct one, and, is the arm of sufficient length to attach the paddle?

Any input much appreciated.
