Which I found interesting, seeing as George Lucas is the guy who's always pushing new technology, yet he didn't insist on cyan tracks for the analog. Disney, on the other hand, is really going at it with those.

Isn't Lucas all about the video thing these days? Cyan tracks still involve an analog medium: film.

If Lucas was really interested in pushing new technologies such as digital cinemas, he would have given digital cinema locations preferred conditions, maybe even an earlier release date. Which we as one of the exhibitors with the highest density of d-cinema installations in the world would certainly have welcomed. And it would have given the whole d-cinema thing a very noticeable push.
But of course he didn't insist on that, because everything he says and does these days is just cold smoke.
