Has anyone has problems with the front panel display on a DTS 6AD ?
I have jus replaced the 740 board in one and now the display is acting up.
It is fine when first booted up , but after about 10 minutes the contrast creeps up making the screen so bright it cannot be read.
The manual does not explain anything about front display adjustment , do these units have a display contrast adjustment ?

Head to page 2.6 and there should be a notice about the trimpot on the side of the display cover where a "tweeker" screwdriver to adjust the display.

Bah! So long as you never play anything in analog the 6AD isn't that bad.
For anyone who disagrees, I've got a trash can you can borrow.

We have installed quiet a few of them and they have turned out to be a decent unit in digital and the A type analogue is ok the SR emulation is on the border line though

I'm with Gordon, to a point. We had some of the eraly models, lots of problems and many mods from DTS, they perform perfectly well in DTS, but SR is cack.
