The Elks National Home has two vintage film projectors that we would like to sell. They were furnished by National Theatre Supply. They are Super Simplex #49306 from International Projector Corp. with Peerless Reflector arc lamps. They were made by J. E. McAuley Mfg. Co. Chicago (#21662 Volt 50-65 and Amp 15-30) We need further information as to the value of these projectors before we can sell.

I am sorry to say that these projectors and lamps are pretty commonplace and worth very little to nothing.

However, it would be nice to have pictures of the entire booth in case there is something else of value, like perhaps the sound system components.

I agree with Sam. Although these are older "low intensity" arc lamps unless someone wanted them for display they are not worth much. After setting some Peerless Low lamps had motor end bells fall apart.

I assume the booth was equipped for sound. There was no mention of what model soundhead or amplifiers are in the booth. The sound system might be of value to collectors.

Pictures would be nice to help determine any collectable value.

My suggestion would be to find two theatres that would each like a nice old machine to display in their lobbys. Let them pick them up and hayl them away for free. Sell the sound equipment if there's anyting good to Sam.

These projectors have more value to antique projector collectors and home (film) theatre enthusiasts. My suggestion is to take lots of pictures and put them on eBay.
