Does anyone have a partnumber and manufacturer for screwdrivers that accurately fit the .8mmx7mm and the 1.2mmx7mm slotted screws on many of the parts and terminal strips of the cinemecanicas
I normally use Wera tools but they don't seem to have an exact fit and I am tired of wrecking the slots

FELO #50572 - 5mm x .8mm x 6"
FELO #22096 - 6.5mm x 1.2mm x 6"

I believe Newmann Tools in Kanata stocks them... 1-800-465-1384.

I don't think you'll find a metric driver with an aspect ratio as large as 7mm x .8mm as they're usually no more than 6:1.

I usually just grind down a regular screwdriver for a thinner blade.

Are those screws special, or are they 'standard' in Italy? I've never seen ones with such a large head.

After doing some more measurements it also appears that the taper of the slots is very tight requireing the flat sides of the blade be parralell down the entire insertion to the slot rather than a taper this appears to be a problem only on older machines

Try Beta Screwdrivers. They do the job without any modification
