While building my print of "Dreamer" for a sneak this weekend, I noticed that there are distinct, clear frame lines on every reel.
If your scope aperture plates are overcut, this print will tell the tale. It will also expose lazy popcorn jockeys who fail to frame properly.

Standard SMPTE 195 states: "In all cases, the framelines on the print shall essentially be opaque". Clear framelines result from a poor choice of post-production workflow.
