I've searched the picture warehouse and haven't found it yet...sooooo, does anyone know if there is a bracket using a DTS reader with an original reel arm on a V8? Any information would be helpful and a close up picture would be even better. I did find in a Film-Tech search that the standard DTS bracket used on a Simplex or Century should work it would seem that an adapter plate would be necessary for the bolt pattern.

Thanks...
Don

Don,
Sounds like you got yourself a Vic-8.... Perhaps a piece of 1/4" alumnium plate that would sandwich between the upper arm and the head and extend a bit out in front of the head. This would allow you to mount the reader at the end of the plate on the standard DTS bracket.

If you want to put the original madazine back on I get two of the DTS adapter plates and sandwich the reader between the non the bracket and use some metric threaded rod to hold it all togather
