OK, i built couples of ignitor foe xenon lamps till now, but always i use second hand transformers, now i want to order custom made transformer in one company but i must know exactly values, power, primary voltage, secondary voltage..
I know secondary voltage for ignitor of 2500W xenon is about 50KV, but what is current?
So if you wont to order transformers what values are primary is 220V, secondary i suppose is 50KV, what about power and secondary current?

you need a transformer 220V/5000V 20mA

You mean 5000V or 50000V?
On mine ignitor says is 50000 or i didn't saw good?

in the ignitor you have two steps first by sending 220v you get 5000v that drive the high voltege trafo that transfer 5000v into 50000v

Marin can you send me any information on the ignitors you have built? I would be interested in building one to run a 500 watt xenon.
