Has anyone had experience with this company? I'd really like to buy a few of the old "Welcome" loops, but I wanted to check here first. It doesn't seem to specify an aspect ratio... or audio type. I'd also be curious to learn what quality they are... anyone?

Wooo..! these are still being printed...I remember these when I was playing these in the many small theatres about 30 plus years ago..

These filled the bill nicely...just make sure that you preserve these so that they can last long..

That's Derek Maxwell's company. Look's like he moved out of Columbus and out a few miles east to Newark (or Nerk, as its said around here.) He used to post on these boards. He's been in business for some time.

He is legit. His snipes vary in quality, as most are duped and not off the original negative.

Filmmac out of Chicago has reprinted some of their classic snipes, such as "Let's All Go To The Lobby, To Get Ourselves A Treat". They are more expensive, but the quality is much better as they are off the original negative.

Bill Carter uses those for Atomic Midnights here in MSP. Some look very nice. The national anthem plays well. Great snipes for any occasion, very nostalgic.

We run clips from both Drive-in Film and Filmack every night on our three drive-in screens, in total over 17 minutes every night! Derek at Drive-in Film offers affordable clips with heaps to choose from.

Filmack actually have less available each year. We recently bought a clock from them also, but some of our great old snack bar clips bought new 4 years ago are no longer printed.

These clips help grow our concession business, keep our customers entertained at interval and our giant screens are filled with colour instead of going blank.

We're still the only ones who's made new trailers for drive-ins, too, along with completely re-mastered originals. In stereo!

But, don't take my word for it...

Tim, those trailers look great! Why don't you make some for indoor theatres? The Filmack trailers look REALLY bad, in my opinion...the animation is cheesy and the content is so irritating.
