Hi all
Im wanting to know if there is any way to use the sub channel in non sync?
Is there anything special to be done or am i shit out of luck?

The actual Non-Sync inputs don't have any processing to use the subwoofer channel...however, I believe the A/V inputs can use it much the same as the optical inputs (same processing). If it can't (I can't recall) then it would require a firmware change from Pana to impliment it.

Get yourself an SACD or DVD-A CD player and use one of the 6 channel inputs instead..... afterall this is 20006! That form of non-sync makes use of the sub channel. Ray did a firmware version for us a couple of years ago that also allows one of those 6 chan. inputs to fade in and out just as the regular non-sync does. That firmware is available though Smart Devices.

Well, since the soundtrack is beamed directly to the chips in our heads, no more need for processors or speakers...

Sorry, Mark, couldn't resist!

Nick, I can make you up a cable for the 6 track input if you like, the academy and the chauvel use the dvd player for pro logic and 5.1 non sync'Im glad you like my sub woofer, not many cinemas have a 10 ft tall sub, 1/4 wavelength designs are more acurite and deeper than traditional ported designs
