Does anyone know how to rig a CP-55 to make it wake-up with the remote fader selected instead of the local one?
Any advice appreciated!

There is a jumper on the Cat. No. 243 card that will switch it between local and remote. I believe that if you have the jumper on remote it will wake up in that position.

... if it was that easy I wouldn't have posted
I believe the jumper simple allows or disallows selection of the remote fader ..... the CP55 still wakes up in local mode .... I am more than happy to do more surgery if anyone has the answer....

Matt, you are correct, the jumper enables or disables the remote fader.
It is possible to make it wake up on remote fader. It's a fairly easy mod. Do you want to be given it, or do you want a prod in the right direction, and figuire it out for yourself?

Pete, with my current work-load, I'd be very happy to be given the mod details
Pleeeeeease?

It's really quite simple, break one track, and solder in a short wire link. Basically you're re routing part of the logic.
Here's a diagram, originally drafted by our chief engineer.
