I received 2 brand new DFS prints of Gridiron Gang last night with the reels placed one on top of the other in the fox boxes. To my understanding I always thought this was a big no-no. Is it worth notifying DFS when this happens? Lately at least with the prints I am receiving which are all 1st run this has been an issue. The last one was Wicker Man, in which reel five actually came apart and received some damage from the plastic locking part jabbing into the reel.
Or maybe I am just too anal of a film monkey...

Personally, I would rather them ship horizontally in the box as opposed to vertically. There is less of a chance of the reels busting apart and the film getting mangled. Unfortunately only the extra large Fox boxes can get away with that.

After everything we've seen I'm not sure it's possible for a good operator to be "too anal of a film monkey...." Murphy lurks where attention wavers.
