Yeah...it's that great time of year when we all start having static problems on our prints.

Or maybe it's just me.

I've tried everything. Humidifiers, Film Lube, Dryer Sheets. It helps, but it's a constant battle when it comes to it. And trying to run 14 theatres and deal with static problems can be a pain in the butt.

Any other suggestions that might help me out?

What make and model of platter is involved some with painted decks are a pain to deal with and static

Maybe that's it. Using Speco LP270-3 platters.

FilmGuard (not other film cleaner or lubes) will knock it out.

50% relative humidity, and film guard works best for me although I've never been totally able to eliminate it. btw FG also prevents those pesky tape residue suck ins at the pay out.
