Hello,

I need to connect an advertising computer to the Dolby CP65 processor but I already have a CD player connected to the Non-Sync input.

Can I connect the advertising computer to the MAG/AUX input? If so, can anyone explain how?
...or should I just connect the CD player and advert. pc to a mixer and the mixer to the Non-Sync input?

You can go into the Mag/Aux or Dolby Digital. Just pick what channel you want it to come out of and hook it up to that channel on the fanning strip.

I'll have to go with MAG/AUX because we have the DA20 connected to the Dolby Digital input connectors. Do you know where these MAG/AUX connectors are? I have a Rear view diagram (from the installation manual) and there are at least two options. Either with or without Noise Reduction. I don't know which one to connect to. There are also two chips on the back marked with Format 22 and Format 42. These chips can be turned in two ways, for either format. I also don't know which way to turn them [Frown]

Look in the manuals section of this site; the CP-65 installation manual is there, and it gives the connection details.

Bottom row next to power amp output. Mag input L,C,R,S and earth. Make sure the 2 headers are positioned so they read format 22. Put noise reduction jumper to no nr unless you want noise reduction.

No, as the output of your PC will not be Dolby NR encoded.
