* TOKIWA CO., LTD. Tokyo (KK Tokiwa Seiki Seisakusho, means Limited Co. Tokiwa Precision Manufacturing) makes 35mm and 16/35mm standard line.
I have visited their factory, and was the agent for Turkey in 1995.
Sells also former Shinkyo brand (Shinkyo Electric Co., Ltd. Tokyo-now closed down) 35mm portable stocks, as well as Chinese 35mm portable made by Shanghai August 1st Precision Machinery Co., Ltd.-AFPM (formerly Shanghai August 1st Film Machinery Factory);

* NIPPON DENSHI KOGAKU (KOGYO) CO., LTD. Tokyo (also known as Japan Electronic Optical (Industry), brand: Cineforward, office in Tokyo and factory in Toda, Saitama) makes 35mm and 16/35mm standard line;

* VICTOR ARCS CO., LTD. Tokyo (formerly Victor Sound Equipment Co., Ltd.) has stopped to sell Fuji Central brand 35mm and 16/35mm standard line and Hi-Central brand lamphouse made by Hiraoka Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Hiraoka Industry) Hanno, Saitama-now closed down;

* EIKI CORP. Osaka (formerly Eiki Co., Ltd.) has stopped to make portable and standard 16mm line very limited.
I have visited their office in 1995;

* ELMO CORP. Nagoya (formerly Elmo Co., Ltd.) has stopped to make portable and standard 16mm line.
I have visited their office in 1995;

* YOKOGAWA PRECISION CORP. Tokyo-now closed down (formerly Hokushin Electric Works, Ltd., brand: Hokushin, means Northern Star) has stopped to make portable and standard 16mm line.

In 2003, Frank said, "Eiki is phasing out their 16mm projector production line at the end of the year," and I assume that actually happened...

Ahhhhh, At last someone who knows Japaneese machines. I have a 16/35 Nippon Denshi Kogaku projector that I have been trying to find parts info on for years. I am missing the 16mm gate on this one. Do you know if any of these parts are available. Not sure why I want to complete this machine these days but it would be fun to run it.
