I need some help with fixing the pictured feedout assembly. If you take a look at the pin at the base of the feed out arm, it's not in all the way. Infact because we only have 1 brain on many of our platters, the force from it dropping into the grove causes it to fall out, allowing the brain assembly to spin freely on the deck.

I've tried putting the pin in until I can find someone to take and put it in properly, but it won't stay. From the look of the other assemblies, the pin just about flush with that edge before it begins to cone. Is this right?

Get yourself a drift punch thats just slightly larger in diameter than the diameter of the pin itself and tap it back in so its flush with the bottom of the P.O. head. Also apply a little of the BLUE non permanent Loc-Tite and this will also aid in keeping the pin in place down the road.
