I have recently replaced a couple of Christie CXLs with ASL XM short arc xenon lamps. I noted that the film temperature was significantly hotter when exiting the film trap using the ASL bulb. I'm wondering if the ASL lamps have a higher output in the infrared spectrum than the Christies. I cant seem to find any technical data to compare the two.
