I have a Bell & Howell Lamp Supply Unit that is not working. It is model number 014640 used to power an EZT (a/k/a MARC 350/16T) lamp in projector model 567.

When I opened it up I observed what appears to be a GE transformer labeled 9T68Y4000G21 with a burned out terminal which leads me to believe this may be the source of the problem.

Does anyone know where I can find a suitable replacement for this or does anyone still repair these units? Any other advice?

I don't run 16mm often but I would still like to have it operational for the occasional need.

thanks for any info,
Ed

Hi Ed:

KMR Electronics of Santa Monica, CA repairs those units. They have a website that you can find by googling. John is the person you want to contact.

Are you of any relation to Dick Inman the art teacher?

No close relation to Dick that I know of, but your post suggests what a small community remains that would still be interested in this question. Thank you very much for the link. I appreciate it. And any input from others knowledgable about this would be equally welcome. Thanks again. I love both 35mm and 16mm.

Hi Ed:

Try visiting www.16mmfilmtalk.com. This is where all the 16mm collectors gather. They may have suggestions on your power supply.

Mike
