stuck on the inside of one of our film cans, was this sticker for the film Deja-Vu. I have no idea what country it is from, or what 90% the words mean.

Any answers (or guesses) would be great.

The language is Greek. The label is from laser subtitling. Does your print have subtitles on it? If so, what language are they in? I assume you know what laser subtitling is.

greek. wow.

this was stuck to the underside lid of another film we have just recieved in England, UK. the rest of the reels had the same sticker. id LOVE to know what all the writing says and also, what they mean by Spotting, and Control... Its amazing to think that these cans, if not the films have come from so far away.

Spotting generally is the practice of determining exactly where each subtitle goes. The laser titling machine will then burn the titles into the print at the same place as the original dialog on the sound track.
I would guess "control" is the identification of the person who is responsible for all this to be set up properly.

I have a few trailer film cans/boxes that I keep for the heck of it, one was from a trailer from Israel for Goldeneye, another a trailer for Romancing the Stone from South Africa, and I have some PSA boxes from the 60s for stars like Steve McQueen and Bob Hope. I dont know why I kept them but I think I share your enthusiasm since thelocations are so far away.

Yes, definately Greek and familiar.
This is reel 4 of "Deja Vu".Its the inner of the can cover where the specific subtitling company - ATTICA S.A. - puts info after a reel has passed through the subtitling proceedure. Print no 48, 7 reels total on Kodak Vision 2383 stock. Below are the signature ids of the persons responsible for each stage of the subtitling.
So used cans travel abroad! Very interesting. Was it a Greek film inside or something else?

Thanks everyone very much for helping me with this.

It actually came with a US print of the new film Water Horse.

And yes its just amazing to think how far it has come... and i think i might build up a little collection of these. Its bound to happen again sometime.
