I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a failsafe/cue sensot that can mount to the projector with a Kelmar hour reel arm for take up. It needs to be a 2 contact cue, one to control a curtain, one to control the automation. It should be good enough to run older film through it with having to worry about curling, so something that can take all kinds of film including archive film. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Bernie

That is easy...install a Kelmar cue detector (the prox cue type). It is offered in a dual and triple cue form. With it is a 2-3 cue expander or a 3-7 cue expander, respectively. The bracket slips between the lower reel arm bracket and soundhead without hading more than 1/8" to the overall length of the reel arm.

Talk to your Kelmar dealer for this one.

Just emailed Bernie with a fix. I have what he's looking for.
