I've been looking at my osram 2000/3000 watt xenon bulb boxes all day today and I can't seem to find where the warranty hours are. I have only come across the "Average lamp life" which is 3500 h. Is this the actual warranty hours or just what they expect the bulb to last? If it's not the warranty hours, then where the heck is it?

Christie puts the info on a sheet in the box. The last Osram I put in had a pamphlet in the box, maybe in there?

Goto this OSRAM site and download the .pdf pages of which bulb you wish to look up and the warranty hours are posted there within.
General rule of thumb is to run the bulb 50% past warranty hours before replacement occurs. Thus, if a 2000XBO is warranted 2400hrs, you'd do the recommended changeout at 3600hrs.

Yep! Look at the Osram stuff and then wonder why we see many a Christie 2K lamp go for longer then 20K hours... Yep! 20K hours. Then you wonder why you waste your time with Osram.

Have you looked at the LTi bulbs? the highest warranty hours I have seen on their 2k/3k bulbs is 1800. Plus they are more expensive than any other bulb.
Anyways, what xenon bulb would you guys recommend?

(
that's almost a forbidden set of letters around here..) - worst bulb that I've ever encountered.
Last Osram that I burnt was a XBO 2500 HS and the dang thing just had to die with only 1400 hrs on it without any hint of wanting to die-no flicker, no burnt ends, no loss of gas, et.al..
Thx, but I'll stay with Christies..
