It seems when you open program setup, the program displayed is an oddball number that we do not use. Currently we use progam 1 & 2 for flat & scope respectivly. When I go into program setup it opens a different program on each projector, but seems like the same program other than the program number. Selecting a program before entering setup makes no difference. The goal is to leave 1 & 2 alone but to setup 3 & 4 for flat & scope intermissions since we have been getting a lot of bollywood films. Sorry for the long post & thanks for the help.

If I remember correctly when you go into the screen to set-up the programs you just selsct the program number and change it to whichever one you want to edit. When you are done editing the program the way you want it you can send it to all the other machines as long as they are not running and they are networked for interlock/data. There is a DOS program you can download where you can edit the programs on a PC and then send it to the automations, I think it is on the manuals page here or you can get it from Strong. The PC will have to be connected to the CNA netowork.

What is throwing me off is once I am in program setup it displays our scope program #2 but shows a different program number. Do I just input the program number that I want to edit and make my changes? If so I take it I have to change all steps of the program to reflect the correct program number. Seems to me like I should be able to change it once & have it open the program I want to change.

You would change the program number, and then change the programming. Either someone programmed these other programs previously, or copied the programming, or it somehow set it as a default. Simply select the program number and change it to 3 or 4 or whichever one you want to use then enter then go down throught the programming lines and change what you want then delete any extra lines you don't need. Once you are done you can copy that program over to each other machine you have networked.
