Just curious if anyone can help me. our #1 booth leaks oil, and get all onto the film, it isnt really noticiable, exept for credits, where the words looks smeared. is there anyway to clean the film? like maybe a roller could have a pad or something that cleans it while it is playing?

See the side panel? Click on Products. Click on Film-Guard. Or use the search function and put in film cleaners. You'll have reading material for the evening.

But why are you worrying about a little oil? By the time the film is done playing your booth, it's all damaged anyway....just get it out of your theatre.

Oil on the film won't cause credits to look 'smeared'. Oil on the optics would.

I am betting you have a shutter timing problem (travel ghost) which will cause the credits to appear 'smeared'.

And unless you live in NYC or really are Batman, I'd change your location before Adam suspends you.

Normally, the leader, the first several feet of trailer and the tail would be most affected by oil. Not the credits. As just mentioned, that would be lens and port glass.
