Does anybody have current contact information for Clyde McKinney?
He has sort of dropped out of sight over the last couple of years
and I'm wondering if he has retired or is still working in the
business. I have a Kinoton related project for him if he is still
working.

He and Sam Chavez are good friends. Clyde is definately around... he was at the last Dolby D-Cinema training seminar.

I will get in touch with Clyde. He's been in Chicago a lot this year.

Sam, can Clyde handle a possible warranty issue with Kinoton? I have a bad reflector in a lamphouse that may be under warranty, I hope anyways.

I sent a message to Clyde. As to the Kinoton warranty issue, Boston Light and Sound is no longer the exclusive Knoton US Distributor and I'm not sure how this affects Clyde one way or another.

Actually, Kinoton America "Distribution" does indeed still handle all North American Kinoton issues until the end of the year.

However, whomever was your dealer should be able to process the warranty claim. Note, Kinoton, like most other film projectors, are only warranted for 1-year. How old are your projectors/reflectors?

Digging up this old thread to see if anyone has current contact information for Clyde? He was recommended to me for an acoustically challenging room.

He's alive and well. 925 820 4350.

I believe he is or was at TCM this week.
