I'm having a problem with the height adjustment on my one Simplex LL-3 pedistal. I can't get it to move more that a couple inches. I need to drop down a little bit more. Its seems when you turn the adjustment wheel it wants to lock down on its self. I've loosen all the visible screws on the mount, loosed the one that locks down on the collar on the inside and even removed the retaining clip underneath. Can't figure out what's stopping. Any thoughts on it?

Thanks

Bernie

..got a section of thread on that threaded shaft all buggered up to not allow the wheel to do it's thing?

Wonder if the inside lock nut had buggered up some of those threads...or the front pivot is bugging up on you as well ..

Machinery holding up on the base, or conduits of such?

I figured it out. If that lock collar isn't tight enough to spin with the adjustment knob, that knob will lock itself down and not move anything. There's a hole in the top of the pedistal that you can get a screw driver into and lock that thing down.

Thanks

Bernie
