This guy seems to know a lot about Japanese projectors:

He also wrote some articles about historical Japanese projectors. Best to contact him directly. I think he posts here once in a while.

I have never heard of Wessmann. When/where were these projectors made?

I think Wassman is still in business and I know SAX makes an excellent red reader for the eurokino

Good luck on the Hokushin manual. In the US their dealers were Marty Bahn in Miami (sadly deceased) and Rangertone in Clifton, NJ (out of business). I have a few SC-210's and the best I could do was some nearly illegible xeroxes which are incomplete and too fuzzy to copy. Sorry.

Apparently this is the company which made (makes?) the Wassmann projectors:

They should be able to provide some documentation.

Thank again Michael, i will contact them...

Well is the sound alignment on a 16mm similar to a 35mm projector? Anyone know where i can get hold of some 16mm test films??

Thanks
Dan.

The Hokushin was also sold under the Apollo name as the Q100. That company, which specialized in a/v stuff might still be in business.
