The third reel of HP6 is shaking laterally on more than one projector. I've run my two prints on more than 3 projectors, and they all behave the same way. It isn't a steady shake; it only happens for a few seconds every few minutes. Is this an effect edited into the film that I missed, or do you think I was given bad reels? The fact that it only happens on reel 3 makes me think bad reels...

Could have been a bad reel that they were printed from.

Our two prints didn't have any problems with Reel #3 on the shaking issue.
Must be a batch issue then with certain print numbers.

Typically the leaders are marked with an internegative number (like IN3) on them; that indicates the internegative it was printed from. Could you check and post that info for R3?

Pull the apperture and look at the perfs to determin if it is a printer or a lubrication issue

We got all our three prints rehearsed last night and I didn't see any shaking in mine, and the other two prints were given the all clear. Sounds like a dodgy reel to me so I'd get it replaced if need be.
