Want to run remote format status LED’s (Mono, Non sync, SR etc) from a CP65. The Processor is located in a different room. Can anybody tell me if I can use ID0 through to ID7 off J18 25 pin D connector to drive LED’s.

It has been 760 days since the last post.

I would be curious about how to do this too. The only thing that is different on my system is I have a DA 20 hooked up at that connector

Without the DA20 connected, you can use the ID0-7 pins to directly drive 10mA LEDs (anode connected to IDx pin, cathode connected to ground), but since the DA20 uses ID0 connected to the "Sense0" line, I'm not sure what the effect of connecting an LED to that line will be. It can't physically hurt, but it might affect the automatic format switching.
The output of those pins is 15V in series with a 1.5k resistor when enabled, and floating when disabled.
