Does Film Guard 1 Qt. bottle only do one film or did I work it out wrong.

One kit contains a 32oz bottle. Roughly 1oz is enough to do an entire movie. In an ideal situation, you would saturate the cleaning media pads on the first showing of a new print and then continue to use those same pads for the rest of the week (rewinding after each show and NOT re-saturating).

Some people prefer to cycle a cleaner around between movies, so in that instance they would run auditorium #1 all day Friday, reload pads and re-saturate for auditorium #2 all day Saturday, etc. It just depends on your specific situation, but in no way is one bottle equal to one movie. A quart of FilmGuard will outclean more than a gallon of any other film cleaner.

I has taken me about 2 years to get it so many movies I could of saved. I am just hoping that it will get rid of the small scratches on our lovely bones print. ( even the best of us have bad days )

Don't think I can convince them. They're pretty set against it, just wish I knew why. I have thought of doing some invisible filmguarding on some bad condition prints.

Ahhhhhh, now that makes sense. Luckily my booth runs well enough that 99% of the time I don't need to use filmguard. We keep our older equipment in good shape that presentations stay crisp and clean.

The thing about grudges is that they are often very hard to let go of. It takes a big person (or company) to let bygones be bygones and work towards a better goal.

Only thing that I can see on this is that it's just a booth convenience that has no value compared to doing a task needed for a price.

All they see is the $$$ sign in everything and can't see any value of nothing.

Strange and sad - cost pennies for a quart that can last for a good while against the dollars spent on other expenses that only lasts a minute.

But, after reading Brad's link, I can understand it as well ... a grudge.
