I just received a 2500 watt Hanovia bulb which is supposed to match the Christie CXL-25SC and the Osram XBO 2500HS OFR.

I have a super lumex lamphouse, this Hanovia bulb has no anode cable.
Do i need a cable from Hanovia or a adapter for the super lumex or is there a way to make a cable from an old bulb work?

I bought this at a extreme discount,looks unused.Wish i could use it!

The short period I was using Osrams I had to remove the anode from the Christie bulb I just removed and install it on the Osram. The Osrams I got had these "suppository" leads on the top in place of the lead I needed to install from the Christie.
I did not care for the Osrams, though I had been ordered to requisition them by my regional booth tech at the time.
In fact, I was thrilled when I ordered more Osrams and my company's purchaser "substituted" with Christies.

The Osram and Christie cables i have will not fit this Hanovia, smaller threads, small hole.

Strong did sell a cable that clamped around the anode pin you may have to take a old osram lead and have a machine shop turn the end down and thread it

Is Hanovia still in business??? Yes, the 2500 hs bulbs should be standard with a cable with a ring lug. Louis
