When we got our Barco, we were told we could ditch the shell. I've gutted all the usuable parts out of it and it is now simply a shell (much lighter as well) It was a CFS 2500. Does anybody know what kind of metal this is and if it is worth anything at a recycling center? I also have all the panels in separate pieces. Just looking to maybe make a little money on the side.

Reflector's worth a ton by itelf along with that very stable rectifier.
Or, sell it whole and tell the new owner to get some girder material to make a shelf, take out that angled mirror, install a new light table in that thing and you got quite the console there.
Or, better keep it if that Barco doesn't pan out and you need to go back to 35mm ...

We've already scrapped out all useable parts. Both reflectors went to other projectors, the head went one theatre, the platters to another. All I have left is an old metal shell.
