We just ran it, it's 3 full length features, so it was 18 reels or so.

I ran the the trilogy TWICE at the Telluride film festival
last September. I do recall it was a sh_tload of reels!
Looked interesting, but I as too busy working to watch it.

It's been interesting to see how the few theatres that have played it so far are running it. At the IFC Film Center in New York City, the three were presented combined as a roadshow engagement, complete with commemorative book and a free popcorn. At the Nuart in Los Angeles, they've sometimes played the films on the same day, with separate admission required for each showing, while other times they've shown one film per day on consecutive days.

I'm hoping to pick the film up at my theatre this week (I'll know in an hour or two), and it'll be interesting to see how I am supposed to play it if it happens.

Folks:

Saw the first part "Red Riding: 1974", here in SF at the Mostly British Film Festival. It was a little slow moving but VERY GOOD. I am hoping there will be a return engagement.

Oh boo-hoo. 18 reels....that's WUSSY stuff. I ran SHOAH -- 25 reels, as in TWO FIVE! and on 2000ft reels too, no Nancy 6000fters either.

This was aired in the UK as a TV mini-series.

Now it's getting a cinema release in other parts of the world.
