Have anyone use the MIT rail system or any other rail system? This is a digital proj. & a 35mm proj. & console on a track that share the same center line (port window). Which ever proj that is needed will slide out of the way. I am concern about the electrical flex, how does this work with the 3-phase electrical flex, audio, dimmer & server flex without breaking the flex when moved, also does the flex come from the rear or the front of the consoles (digital & 35mm)? last question: is this worth the price & trouble? Thanks for your help....

BACP with a partner has made a fairly large number of these systems for clients like Pixar, Skywalker, ILM, and any number of others including in Europe.

They are custom built for your application.

They are kind of like playing with toy train sets, only bigger.

I have one and it has worked without one bit of trouble. I felt like the price was right and defiantly worth the trouble. On our installation the flex comes out of the front and we have not had a problem or even seen the possibility of the flex breaking, we used the gray liquid tight flex and ran the wire through it into the pedestal and 35MM console. This is the first one I did and I had it installed and back on the screen in about six hours with one helper.

The folks at MiT are great to work with and I will recommend them and their products to anyone.
