Hi..Everybody...
I've a few christie rectifiers with loud buzzing sounds.Worried if leave unattended will cause problems. Any sugestions?

I have had Christie rectifiers do this and they continued to function normally for nearly a year until we were able to change them out. The biggest actual problem is that your audience might hear the buzzing.

You can find a way to put wooden shims inbetween the windings and the iron cores to cease the buzzing....

Run rectifier for 10-12 hours.

Remove power and then immediately tighten the large bolts that hold the transformer windings together.

You have an 85% chance of solving the problem right there. Louis

Thanks for the advice...will try out all advice and see what happens...hopefully will solve the buzzing problems..
