I know it is possible to use a DTS6 processor through an SDDS DFP-D300 processor (although DTS says it isn't,) but how would I go about configuring the SDDS processor to use the DTS? I solved this issue by swapping the DSP-82 board from an auditorium that was initially configured to use the DTS6 with the SDDS processor (which was a tip from our tech,) but how does one go about configuring an existing SDDS processor without the need to swap boards? I'm just curious as to how this works. -Chase

Sounds like you have a great tech.

It's so simply to do with Sony processors.
Just wire DTS6 to one of DFP inputs, AUX1 or AUX2, than on automation connector wire DTS6 automation, if you skilled you can see from schematic, if not I can draw some to help you, but I must look on schematic since who can remember pinouts
Fact is, you configure on of DFP3000 presets with AUX input on which DTS is connected, than in case DTS plays it triggers that preset via dfp automation port, and in case DTS drops out it triggers analog or SDDS preset back (depending what you have).

I don’t know what person you may have spoke with at formally DTS now DataSat regarding interfacing a DTS-6 to a Sony DCP-3000 but we have the information to do this, Sony even has a tech note regarding this as well see: Sony TN99020103-2 DTS-6/6D interface into Sony DCP-3000. I don’t have a link but if you can’t find this tech note send me a PM and I’ll get you a copy.
